Church of Abu-Serga


Abu Serga, also known as Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church, is a significant historical and religious site located in Old Cairo, Egypt. It is believed to have been built on the spot where the Holy Family, consisting of Joseph, Mary, and the infant Jesus Christ, rested during their journey into Egypt. According to tradition, they may have lived here while Joseph worked at the nearby fortress.
