Day 1: (March 20th)

After an 8 am pick-up, the first stop will be Dahshur, where you will visit the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid. Move on to Saqqara, and learn more about the Step Pyramid Complex, the Pyramid and the Causeway of Unas, the Pyramids of Userkaf and Teti, and the tomb of Kagemni.
Then your guide will take you to Giza and show you around the Great Pyramid of Cheops, and the Pyramids of Chephren and Mycerinus. Enjoy the view from the panorama area and live a camel ride adventure in the Sahara desert around the pyramids, before heading to the Valley Temple and the Great Sphinx. Accommodation not included.

Day 2: (March 21st)

After an early pick-up at 07.00am, a 3-hour drive (each way) will take you to Alexandria. With your guide, visit the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqaffa, Pompey's pillar, the Serapeum (temple of god Serapis), the Fort of Qaitbay (site of the old lighthouse, Pharos), and the New Library of Alexandria. Accommodation not included. Lunch is included at a good quality seafood restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. Additionally, we would like to spend an extra hour or two in Alexandria visiting with family after the tour, then returning to Cairo.

Day 3: (March 22nd)

Today you will explore Cairo/Memphis - pick-up is at 8 am. Your first stop is Memphis. Your guide will show you around and explain related facts about this ancient capital. After that, you will enjoy some relaxation on the felucca (traditional sailboat) on the river Nile. Then head to Old Cairo, and explore the Roman Fortress of Babylon, the Hanging Church, the Church of Abu Serga and the Jewish Synagogue of Ben Ezra. Next, visit the Citadel of Saladin and enjoy a panorama view and the Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Lastly, enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Bazaar of Khan El Khalili. Accommodation not included.
