The Egyptian Museum is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East, and houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. The museum displays an extensive collection spanning from the Predynastic Period to the Greco-Roman Era. The architect of the building was selected through an international competition in 1895, which was the first of its kind, and was won by the French architect, Marcel Dourgnon. The museum was inaugurated in 1902 by Khedive Abbas Helmy II, and has become a historic landmark in downtown Cairo, and home to some of the world’s most magnificent ancient masterpieces.


Then visit The Citadel Of Cairo Where you visit The Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali Pasha. The Citadel of Sultan Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi (Saladin) is one of the most iconic monuments in Islamic Cairo, and among the most impressive defensive fortresses dating to the Middle Ages. Its strategic location on the Muqattam Hills gave it a formidable defensive position, and offered, as it still does today, an unrestricted panoramic view of Cairo. Sultan Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi was the first to order the construction of a fortress over the Muqattam Hills in (572 AH/ 1176 AD), but it was not completed during his lifetime. This was achieved during the reign of Sultan al-Kamel ibn al-Adel (604 AH/1207 AD) who decided to reside in it, making it the official residence of the rulers of Egypt. In the mid-nineteenth century, Khedive Ismail moved the official residence to Abdeen Palace in downtown Cairo.

Then a visit to The Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa. The catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa meaning "Mound of Shards") is a historical archaeological site located in Alexandria, Egypt, and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.The necropolis consists of a series of Alexandrian tombs, statues and archaeological objects of the Pharaonic funerary cult with Hellenistic and early Imperial Roman influences. Then visit Alexandria Library The Great Library of Alexandria in Alexandria, Egypt, was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world. The library was part of a larger research institution called the Mouseion, which was dedicated to the Muses, the nine goddesses of the arts. The the Qaitbay Citadel is one of the most important forts on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The Mamluk sultan al-Ashraf Abu al-Nasr Qaitbay built it between 882 AH/ 1477 AD and 884/ 1479 AD over the ruins of Alexandria’s Lighthouse. It served as Alexandria’defence against naval attacks. El Mursi Abu Elabas The Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque is an Egyptian mosque in the city of Alexandria. The historic mosque is named after the 13th century mystic Abu'l Abbas al-Mursi, who is also buried in the same place along with members of the Ashraf family.

Next, we'll move on to the Ramses II Statue. This statue is truly awe-inspiring and is one of the largest exhibits in the museum. It stands tall and proud, and visitors can even observe the intricate details of its carvings and embellishments up close. 

After that, we'll take a look at 10 Statues of Senusert from a distance view, which is a great way to appreciate the artistry that went into creating these ancient works of art. 

We'll then make our way to the Grand Staircase, which you can also appreciate from a distance view. This is a massive staircase that leads visitors up to the upper floors of the museum, and it's truly a sight to behold. 

As we continue the tour, we'll see the Ptolemaic King and Queen exhibits. These displays showcase the fascinating history and culture of the Ptolemaic period in Egypt, and you'll learn a lot about this exciting time in human history.
