Day 1: LUXOR Airport Departure on a special flight to Luxor. Arrival, assistance at the airport and transfer to the cruise ship. Boarding.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 2: LUXOR – ESNA Full board. Visit to the Karnak Temples with their Hypostyle Hall of 134 columns, the Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut and the sacred lake. Continue to the Temple of Luxor and visit its temple.
Optional visit to the Necropolis of Thebes: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari and stop at the Colossi of Memnon.
Departure to Esna to pass through the lock. Night on board.
Day 3: EDFU – KOM OMBO Full board. Departure to Edfu and upon arrival,
possibility of an optional visit to the magnificent Greco-Roman Temple of Edfu dedicated to Horus the falcon god. Sail to Kom Ombo,
possibility of an optional visit to its Greco-Roman Temple dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god and Haroeris. Night on board.
Day 4: ASWAN Full board. Picnic lunch. Visit to the Abu Simbel complex, an enclave formed by two temples dedicated to Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. Night on board.
Day 5: ASWAN – CAIRO Breakfast. Disembarkation.
Possibility of an optional visit to the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis, located in Aswan on an islet in the Nile River. The Philae temple complex is part of the Nubia and Aswan Open-Air Museum, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. Possibility of a Felucca ride (Egyptian sailboat). At the indicated time, departure by flight to Cairo.
Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 6: CAIRO Breakfast. Panoramic visit to the Giza Necropolis (Cheops: one of the seven preserved wonders of the ancient world, Khafre and Mycerinus), the Sphinx and the Valley Temple of Khafre. Visit to the Papyrus Institute.
Optional visit to Memphis, the capital of Upper and Lower Egypt, and the funerary complex of Sakkara. Free time for shopping or sightseeing. Accommodation.
Day 7: CAIRO Breakfast. Free time.
Optional visit to the city: Egyptian Art Museum, Citadel, Alabaster Mosque, Coptic Quarter and Khan el Khalili bazaars (with lunch). Accommodation.
Day 8: CAIRO CAIRO Breakfast. At the scheduled time, transfer to Cairo Airport
