Sakkara

Sakkara (also spelled Saqqara or Sakkara) is a vast ancient necropolis in Egypt, located south of Cairo. It is famous for its archaeological sites, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser, which is considered to be the oldest pyramid in Egypt. Sakkara also has numerous tombs, temples, and pyramids from different periods of ancient Egyptian history. It is a popular tourist destination and an important site for the study of Egyptology.
